Rusmolko: raw milk production up 38%

Rusmolko, a Russia-based milk-producing subsidiary of Olam International with operations in the Penza region, produced 131,000 tonnes of raw milk in January-September 2021, a 38%-increase as compared to the same period last year. The company’s milk output in the reporting period accounts for 44% of the total milk produced in the Penza region. The key driver behind Rusmolko’s result was the launch of Russia’s largest closed-cycle dairy farm for 7,200 dairy cows in 2020 as well as consistent growth of the existing farms.
