Russia's top 25 companies produced 5.4 million tonnes of meat in 2019

The latest ranking of Russian news agency Agroinvestor discloses the list of Russia's 25 largest meat producers in 2019. Having produced a total of 5.4 million tonnes of meat in carcass weight (an 8% increase as compared to 2018), these companies accounted for over 50% of national meat production in 2019. Cherkizovo tops the list with a result of 830,000 tonnes of poultry and pork, followed by Miratorg with 554,000 tonnes of beef and pork. Resource has been ranked third, having produced 645,000 tonnes of poultry. The fourth place was secured by Agrocomplex (365,000 tonnes of poultry and pork), leaving behind Prioskolie with an output of 452,000 tonnes of poultry.The positions 5 to 10 in the ranking are as follows: Belgrankorm (268,000 tonnes), CP Foods (265,000 tonnes), SibAgro Group (219,600 tonnes), Velikoluksky pig complex (208,300 tonnes), and Rusagro (189,500 tonnes).
