Sibagro keeps acquiring assets

Sibagro, a Russia-based agroholding, has acquired the assets of Russian large-scale pork producer Promagro. In particular, Sibagro purchased three pig farms with annual production capacity of 64,500 tonnes of pork in live weight, a meat processing plant with annual processing capacity of 113,000 tonnes, a feed mill producing 200,000 tonnes of compound feedstuffs annually, and 42,000 hectares of farmland area. Market experts estimate that the acquisition costs might lie in the range between $111 million and $124 million. The companies have not disclosed the worth of the deal.
