SibAgro to keep expanding farmland operations

SibAgro, a Russia-based agroholding, wants to increase its farmland area up to 300,000 hectares until 2023. In the long-term perspective, the company plans to reach the size of 600,000 hectares. Initially a meat producer, SibAgro has started gaining farmland scale in 2019. Back then, the company had 12,000 hectares under operation. Currently, SibAgro operates 174,000 hectares. The key driver behind farmland increase is the company’s plan to cover at least 80% of the needs of its meat production segment in compound feedstuffs.
