The court arrested the assets of Agroinvestgroup

The Commercial Court of the Odessa region of Ukraine distrained the assets of Agroinvestgroup, one of the largest agroholdings in the south of Ukraine, in order to obtain satisfaction of the debt claim by TASKOMBANK. In particular, the Court blocked $ 4 million in the accounts and corporate rights of Agroinvestgroup and its subsidiary East Oil Ukraine. Additional $ 2 million were blocked in the personal bank accounts of Agroinvestgroup’s owner Nikolai Kucherenko. Furthermore, the Court transferred the property in about 25,000 tonnes of grain stored at Agroinvestgroup’s elevators to TASKOMBANK.
