Ukrprominvest tripled buckwheat production

Ukrprominvest-Agro, a vertically-integrated agroholding operating 120,000 hectares of farmland in Ukraine, reports its subsidiary Vinnytsia Bread Factory to have increased buckwheat production 3.4 times to 8,600 tonnes in 2019 as compared to 2018. Accordingly, the factory is now rated as Ukraine’s second largest buckwheat producer with a 12%-share on the domestic market. In addition, Ukrprominvest Agro exported 467 tonnes of buckwheat and entered the list of top five Ukrainian buckwheat exporters in 2019.
