Agrosila: growth in revenues to $ 591.6 million

Revenues of Agrosila, one of Russia’s largest agroholdings, grew to reach RUB 38 billion ($ 591.6 million) in 2018, a 12% increase compared to 2017. The company reports of modernization as the main driver behind this development. In 2018, Agrosila invested a total of RUB 2 billion ($31 million) in the modernization of its production facilities. In particular, the company started printing barcodes on its sugar sacks, renewed its automated poultry farm Chelny MPK and closed a deal on purchasing modern sprayers.

In 2019, Agrosila plans to invest additional RUB 2.2 billion ($34 million) in business development projects. These will include the construction of a dairy farm for 2,000 heads of cattle in the Republic of Tatarstan and the launch of a feed mill with a capacity of 60 tonnes per day.

In 2018, Agrosila produced 361,000 tonnes of grain crops and more than 1 million tonnes of industrial crops. The company’s sugar production reached a record volume of 170,000 tonnes while meat production amounted to 121,000 tonnes in live weight.
