Astarta-Kyiv sold two sugar plants

Astarta-Kyiv, Ukrainian large-scale sugar producer, has completed a sale of its two sugar plants in the Kharkiv region. As reported by the company, the key reason behind this deal was inefficient sugar production due to the lack of sugar beet producers and, accordingly, raw materials in the region. With this decision, Astarta wants to focus on its key sugar enterprises in the Poltava, Vinnytsia, and Khmelnytskyi regions.
