Brasil Foods in Q3 2018: a net loss of $ 215 million

Brasil Foods announced a net loss of R $ 812.5 million ($ 214.7 million in the third quarter (Q3) of 2018, a reduction of 48% compared to $ 415 million in Q2 2018. The company's net income equals R $ 8.8 billion ($ 232 million), 0.4% larger than in Q3 2017. Thus far, Brasil Foods is one of the world’s largest meat producers, operating in 140 countries.
