CFG to build new potato storage facility
14 January 2021
Continental Farmers Group (CFG), a Ukraine-based agroholding operating 195,000 hectares of farmland in the western part of the country, started constructing a new potato storage facility in the Lviv region. The facility is designed to store 16,000 tonnes of potatoes for up to 10 months. The construction is to be completed until mid-2021, right before the next potato harvest. In 2021, CFG plans to increase farmland areas under potatoes 25% to 2,000 hectares.
