Cygnet: record milk yields in 2019

Cygnet, a Ukraine-based agroholding, produced over 6,000 tonnes of raw milk in 2019, an 8% increase as compared to 2018 and a record-high result for the whole period of the company’s operations. At the same time, the company reports of a 10% decline in sugar production in 2019/2020 season. In particular, its sugar factory processed 165,900 tonnes of sugar beets into 25,700 tonnes of sugar, with an average sugar content of 15.5%. The company’s average crop yields in 2019 were as follows: sugar beet - 41.2 tonnes/hectare; corn - 9.2 tonnes/hectare; soybeans - 2.6 tonnes/hectare; and wheat - 6.7 tonnes/hectare.
