EkoNiva acquired a dairy farm

EkoNiva, the largest producer of raw milk in Russia, bought Redkinsky dairy farm in the Kaluga region of Russia from Tashir, one of the largest industrial groups in Russia. EkoNiva intends to implement the dairy project for 3,350 heads of cattle there.  As of September 2018, the Redkinsky dairy herd amounted to 308 cows and the average milk yield was 2,723 kg. EkoNiva’s total livestock in the Kaluga region is currently estimated at 14,500 cows and the average milk yield varies from 5,611 kg to 7,395 kg.

In 2018, the company actively expands its production by constructing 14 new livestock farms for 45,000 heads of cattle.
