EkoNiva: dairy production up 1.7 times

EkoNiva, the largest Russian producer of raw milk and a subsidiary of German Ekozem-Agrar, reports to have boosted milk production 68% to 352,000 tonnes in the first half of 2019 (H1), as compared to H1 2018. The total amount of livestock rose from 133,100 to 159,200 cows while dairy herd increased from 63,100 to 80,500 cows within the same period. The company’s total daily milk output reached 2,150 tonnes as of late June 2019.
