EkoNiva launched new dairy farm

EkoNiva, the largest Russian producer of raw milk and a subsidiary of German Ekozem-Agrar, launched a new dairy farm in the Ryazan region. The farm is designed for 2,800 dairy cows and 4,200 calves. The total milk output is to reach 80 tonnes per day. The volume of investment exceeded $ 46.7 million (RUB 3 billion). With the launch of the farm the total milk production in the Ryazan region is expected to grow 6%.
