Epicentr Agro to buy 300 hopper cars and a port terminal

Epicentr Agro, an agricultural subsidiary of the Ukraine-based building supplies chain Epicentr K, is to purchase 300 grain hopper cars in 2019. Besides, the company plans to buy a port facility to complete the process of vertical integration and enhance efficiency. According to the head of trade at Epicentr Agro Svitlana Nikityuk, the negotiations on the purchase are still in progress. The company operates 110,000 ha in 5 regions of Ukraine and owns 7 grain elevators.
