IMC: net profit down 4 times in 2019

IMC, a Ukraine-based agroholding operating 123,900 hectares of farmland, reported net profit of $7.32 million in 2019, a 74% decrease as compared to 2018. On the contrary, its revenue rose 30% to $169.6 million.
In 2019, IMC’s gross profit stood at $51.44 million ($ 66.08 million in 2018), while operating profit was $15.22 million ($ 66.08 million in 2018). EBITDA amounted to $ 39.28 million, a 23% decrease as compared to 2018. Earnings per share amounted to $ 0.22 in 2019, which is 73% less than in 2018 ($ 0.83). As of late April 2020, IMC’s capitalization totalled $ 96 million.
