JBS signs a $ 1.5 billion supply deal with Alibaba Group

JBS, the largest beef producer in the world, signed a $ 1.5 billion agreement with Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba Group, for the sale of animal protein in China. The three-year deal will allow JBS to export beef, pork and poultry to China and to expand its local B2C and B2B networks. Besides, the company will be able to promote its beef brand Friboi.
