Kernel to expand its size to 700,000 hectares

Kernel, a Ukraine-based agroholding, plans to expand its farmland area to 700,000 hectares in the upcoming years. The company wants to accumulate farmland through acquisitions of agricultural enterprises. Within the next five years, Kernel expects to raise its annual sunflower processing volumes to 6 million tonnes and to increase its annual grain export volumes to 15 million tonnes.

Currently, Kernel operates 510,000 hectares and is Ukraine’s largest agroholding in terms of farmland area.
