KSG Agro improved piglet survival rate

KSG Agro, a Ukraine-based agroholding, managed to reduce piglet mortality rate 20% at one of its subsidiaries, Nyva Trudova, in the Dnipropetrovsk region in 2019. In particular, the company strengthened preventive measures at its production sites, e.g. vaccination and immunization of sows, improving animal nutrition as well as enforcement of sanitary regulations among employees. This year, KSG Agro allocated $ 21,220 for purchase of vaccines. The company’s annual budget for feedstuffs ranges between $ 550,000 and $ 850,000.
