KSG Agro: piglets productivity growth of 10%

KSG Agro, a Ukraine-based agroholding, increased the average daily weight gain of piglets at its pig farm Nyva Trudova in the Dnipropetrovsk region by 10% in late 2019 as compared to early 2019. In particular, the productivity of piglets rose from 470 to 540 grams in the rearing phase and from 880 grams to 1100 grams in the fattening phase. Earlier, KSG Agro reported to have reduced piglet mortality rate 20%. The company considers improving genetic characteristics of its pigs as the key priority for the nearest future.
