Large poultry farms are the most efficient way to feed the UK

According to the chief executive of the British Poultry Council (BPC), Richard Griffiths, more mega-farms should be built in the UK in order to keep it supplied with chicken. He stated that larger farms are the most efficient way to grow chicken in terms of the efficient use of technology and resources, and in terms of environmental impact. He believes that ultimately such farms are “the way that we’re going to feed the country.”
