MHP acquired beef production company

MHP, Ukraine’s largest poultry producer, has acquired a 51% stake in Lubnymyaso, Ukrainian beef production company. The acquired company operates a plant with daily production capacity of 25,000 tonnes of beef meat. Net asset value of Lubnymyaso has been estimated at $1.53 million. Previously, the company used to supply beef to MHP’s countrywide meat retail chain. With this deal, MHP wants to further diversify its product range.
