Miratorg launched wholesale distribution center

Miratorg, Russia’s largest meat producer, has launched a wholesale distribution center in Domodedovo, the Moscow region of Russia. The investment in the project amounted to $108 million. The facility will procure agricultural products (meat, fish, milk, cereals, vegetables, and fruits) from the producers in the nearby regions, store and process them into prefabricated and ready meals and drinks, as well as deliver the end products to the stores. Annual processing capacity of the center is 25,000 tonnes.
With the launch of this project, Miratorg expects to improve cooperation with both small and large local farms, and increase its presence on the market of high value-added production.
