Mriya Agroholding has a new owner

Mriya Farming PLC (Great Britain) and SALIC UK Ltd (Saudi Agricultural and Livestock Investment Company, Great Britain) have announced the successful sales of Mriya’s agricultural assets, which include all the infrastructure facilities, the technology park, as well as the companies that own the right to lease the land bank. Though the exact purchase price was not disclosed, Ukraine’s president, Petro Poroshenko, announced in a televised meeting on Wednesday, September 12th, 2018, that the Saudi Arabian investment was worth “hundreds of millions of dollars.” The new company will be managed by Simon Chernyavsky. SALIC UK Ltd plans to repay more than $ 208 million for eurobonds of Mriya Farming PLC issued within the framework of the restructuring of Mriya Agroholding. The repayment is expected to start on November 16th, 2018.
