Mriya to become the largest potato producer in Ukraine

Mriya agroholding, operating 165,000 hectares in six regions of Ukraine, intends to become the largest potato producer in Ukraine in 2019. According to Mriya’s CEO Simon Chernyavsky, the area under potatoes will be significantly extended to reach up to 1,000 - 3,000 hectares. In September 2018, Mriya was acquired by SALIC, the Saudi agricultural and livestock investment company registered in the UK. The new owner plans to invest heavily in the agroholding’s technological and infrastructural developments.
