Nibulon to invest $ 2 billion in new granaries in Egypt

According to Alexey Vadatursky, general director of Nibulon, the company intends to implement a long-term investment program in Egypt worth $ 2 billion. The project is designed for 7-10 years and includes the construction of new granaries near the ports of Alexandria and Damietta. In addition, 20 barges will be built with a carrying capacity of up to 2,000 tonnes each for transporting grain along the river Nile. The first stage of this project will be implemented in 2018-2019 and will cost $ 200 million.
