Ovostar Union increased eggs processing 3%

Ovostar Union, a Ukraine-based vertically integrated agroholding, increased the volume of eggs processing by 3% to 142 million eggs in Q1 2019, compared to 139 million eggs in Q1 2018. The company produced 735 tonnes of dry egg products and 3,600 tonnes of liquid egg products in Q1 2019, compared to 772 tonnes and 3,400 tonnes, respectively, in Q1 2018.
The sales of dry egg products amounted to 532 tonnes, of which 373 tonnes (70%) were exported. In Q1 2019, Ovostar Union exported 1,600 tonnes of liquid egg products, compared to 1,500 tonnes in Q1 2018. Ovostar Union raised the volume of egg exports to 186 million units in Q1 2019, a 35% increase compared to Q1 2018.
