Rusagro completes the first shipment of corn to China

Rusagro Group, one of the largest Russian agroholdings operating in total 675,000 hectares of farmland, exported its first batch of corn to the Port of Qingdao in China. The total volume of the shipment amounted to 5,000 tonnes. The company’s total amount of exports of corn to East Asian countries reached 99,000 tonnes in 2018, of which 94,000 tonnes were shipped to Japan.
In 2018, Rusagro reported a crop of 172,000 tonnes of corn, a 41% increase compared to 2017.
