Rusagro to launch sauce plant by the end of 2020

Russia-based agroholding Rusagro has scheduled the launch of its new sauce plant in the Saratov region, which is currently under construction, for late 2020. As reported earlier, the designed capacity of the plant is 80,000 tonnes of mayonnaise per year. The plant is expected to become the world’s largest sauce producer.
Meanwhile, Rusagro is implementing several other projects aimed at increasing its production capacities. The company is building a frying oil plant with annual production capacity of 60,000 tonnes. In addition, Rusagro plans to double its oil refining capacity from 120,000 tonnes to 240,000 tonnes of sunflower oil per year, and to increase its sunflower storage capacity from 45,000 tonnes to 115,000 tonnes per year.
