Terra Santa Agro to increase its cotton production by 10%

Terra Santa Agro reviewed the projection of its cotton crop for 2018/19. The CEO of the company, José Humberto Plata, estimated a crop growth of 10% compared to the previous season. In August, the expectation was to increase crop by 2.4%. The company’s area under cotton will reach 35.9 thousand hectares and the projection for productivity is 271.4 arrobas per hectare. The production cost is estimated at 13% above that of the 2017/18 crop.
