Ukrprominvest-Agro produced record-high amount of sugar

Ukrprominvest-Agro, the third largest sugar producer in Ukraine, reports that its sugar factories achieved record production results in 2019. In particular, its Kryzhopil sugar plant produced 117,000 tonnes of sugar from 740,000 tonnes of sugar beets and became the largest producer of sugar countrywide. The average sugar content was 15.78%. At the same time, the agroholding’s another subsidiary, Gaysynskyi sugar plant, processed 684,000 tonnes of sugar beets into 111,000 tonnes of sugar with record-high sugar content of 16.28%.
