Ukrprominvest produces 16% of Ukrainian sugar

Ukrprominvest-Agro, the third largest sugar producer in Ukraine, reports to have completed the sugar refining period with a record high of 2.19 million tonnes of sugar beet processing and 291,000 tonnes of sugar production at its two refinery plants in the Vinnytsia region of Ukraine. One of its two sugar plants, Kryzhopil plant, set an industry record of 171,000 tonnes of sugar production, the highest figure in the195-years history of sugar refining in Ukraine. So far Ukrprominvest-Agro accounts for 16% of the Ukrainian sugar production.

The company’s yield of sugar beet reached 65 tonnes per hectare from a total farmland area of 28,400 hectares.
