Kernel to spend $ 329 million on capital investments

Kernel, the largest Ukrainian producer of sunflower oil, plans to invest $ 329 million in 2019. The holding will allocate $ 42 million to the construction of an oilseed processing plant in Western Ukraine and $ 66 million for the construction of an export terminal in the port of Chornomorsk. It will also invest $41 million in silos, $ 7 million in railroad cars, and $ 62 million in agricultural machinery. By 2021, the company intends to invest $ 540 million. Kernel reduced its net profit by 71.4% to $ 52.1 million in the 2018 financial year.
