Rusagro might buy a dairy plant in Russia

The third largest (in terms of area) Russian agroholding Rusagro is reportedly negotiating with a milk manufacturer Alev JSC, located in the Samara region of Russia, on the purchase of its production capacities. Although both companies refuse to comment on the negotiation process, Rusagro is known to have been considering investing in milk business lately. Moreover, in August 2018, the agroholding registered a dairy LLC in the above mentioned region. Rusagro specializes in crops, meat, sugar, fats and oils production.
