SALIC expands its operations to Russia

The Saudi Agricultural & Livestock Investment Company (SALIC) continues strengthening its presence worldwide. The company plans to sign an agreement on cooperation with Russian sovereign wealth fund RDIF in order to conduct joint search for attractive investment projects in Russian agriculture. Back in early 2019, SALIC acquired the Australian agroholding Baladjie Pty Ltd, which operates 200,000 hectares of farmland and a sheep herd of 40,000 heads. In September 2018, SALIC acquired the Ukrainian agroholding Mriya with 150,000 hectares of farmland.
